MOIN!  It has been a while since my last post.  I personally have been busy studying Javascript, it has a lot of fun and I hope to bring some of those skills to MOIN in someway if I can.  In the crtyptosphere everything is going really well, you probably know that.  In addition to BTC hitting all time highs many altcoins are also finding new highs.  It is very exciting times.   Yesterday marked bitcoin pizza day.  The memorial of a historic day in bitcoin history where 10,000 bitcoins were traded for a pizza.  Bitcoin and crypto have come so far since then that right now 10,000 MOIN could easily buy you over 50 pizzas.  It is kind of fun to just nerd out on that.

People have been looking for ways to spread the word about MOIN and the idea was suggested we could give away some MOIN to people who help raise awareness of the coin on Twitter!  It should be a lot of fun. Details are below.

Twitter Campaign Details

Who Can Participate?

What Are The Rewards?
All you need is a twitter account with a minimum of 100 followers to participate.  Your followers must also be at least 75% real according to twitteraudit.com.  The final requirement is you must follow @MoinCrypto and @MoinMovement

What Tweets Qualify?

Qualifying tweets will include the $MOIN tag and optionally #MOIN.  The exact contents of your tweet are up to you and we encourage you to be creative.  There is a weekly bonus for our favorite tweet.

How Do I Get My Coins?

Each Saturday through March 25th 2017 we will send out the rewards for the previous week. We will contact participants for wallet addresses via direct message on Twitter.  Reward transaction id's will be recorded for the foundations records and project transparency.
You can be rewarded up to two times a week for original tweets about MOIN.  The amount of MOIN you recieve will based on the number of followers you have as follows.
​100-499 followers = 50 Moin
500-999 followers = 100 Moin
1,000-2,500 followers = 200 Moin
2,501-5,000 followers = 300 Moin
5,000+ followers = 500 Moin

Retweet Bonus

If you qualify for a weekly reward then you also can receive an extra 5 MOIN per retweet of other qualifying tweets during the week. 

So How Do I Get Started?

Get on Twitter and start tweeting about MOIN.  Be sure to inlude $MOIN in your tweet so that we can find it and it is eligible for rewards.  Make sure you follow @MoinMovement and  @MoinCrypto and also be sure we can direct message you from the MoinMovement account for your wallet address payment details.  If you want to be really proactive you can send your wallet address for your rewards in a DM to @MoinMovement  whenever you want.

Forum Discussion About MOINX Chain

A MOIN community member asked an interesting question on bitcointalk the other day.  The question was regarding the MOINX chain, which is MOIN's stealth addressing system inherited from Shadow.  Here is a link to the specific question and KingCaper's answer on the bitcointalk forum.  The takeaway here is that in order for the MOINX feature to be fully functional we needed more outputs available, which meant we needed more people to test it out by converting MOIN to MOINX.

I played around with converting some MOIN and it was very intersting to see how the software breaks apart different sized conversions so it can build a variety of different size transactions later on.  You can look at the available outputs on the MOINX Chain tab of the wallet. 

It was around then that it occured to me perhaps converting some of the Moin Foundation Funds MOIN to MOINX would be a perfect way to help the network with some of the raised MOIN.....

Converting Some Of The Fund To MOINX

After a brief discussion it was clear that converting some of the fund's MOIN to MOINX would help the network and had no real downsides, especially since the MOINX could be converted back to MOIN if for some reason it really needed to be.  With this in mind I proceeded to convert 47777.666619 of the foundations MOIN to MOINX.  That leaves us with about 42840.19894161 MOIN in the fund.  It really helped diversify the avialable outputs on the MOINX chain and I think was a great success.  I took a few screenshots for proof that I posted over here on the Moin Conversion page, but really the best proof of this event is the large increase in available outputs on the MOINX chain.
