Forum Discussion About MOINX ChainA MOIN community member asked an interesting question on bitcointalk the other day. The question was regarding the MOINX chain, which is MOIN's stealth addressing system inherited from Shadow. Here is a link to the specific question and KingCaper's answer on the bitcointalk forum. The takeaway here is that in order for the MOINX feature to be fully functional we needed more outputs available, which meant we needed more people to test it out by converting MOIN to MOINX. I played around with converting some MOIN and it was very intersting to see how the software breaks apart different sized conversions so it can build a variety of different size transactions later on. You can look at the available outputs on the MOINX Chain tab of the wallet. It was around then that it occured to me perhaps converting some of the Moin Foundation Funds MOIN to MOINX would be a perfect way to help the network with some of the raised MOIN..... Converting Some Of The Fund To MOINXAfter a brief discussion it was clear that converting some of the fund's MOIN to MOINX would help the network and had no real downsides, especially since the MOINX could be converted back to MOIN if for some reason it really needed to be. With this in mind I proceeded to convert 47777.666619 of the foundations MOIN to MOINX. That leaves us with about 42840.19894161 MOIN in the fund. It really helped diversify the avialable outputs on the MOINX chain and I think was a great success. I took a few screenshots for proof that I posted over here on the Moin Conversion page, but really the best proof of this event is the large increase in available outputs on the MOINX chain.

Time just slipped right past us and now here in the northern hemisphere it is winter. Sorry not sorry for the lack of updates :-p . Just been busy with work and whatnot. But how are things in MOIN world? Let's take a look. MOIN v1.1.0.1In September KingCaper relased the v1.1.0.1 update. It is a recommended update so if you are still on the older version consider this a reminder to go ahead and update your wallet. You can see the post on bitcointalk about the update by clicking here. Happy Birthday MOIN!Did you know Moin had its first birthday!!??!? Well it did! Happy birthday to MOIN! It has been over a year now since MOIN began its swap to the new chain. Check out KingCaper's update to the community about the year here. Long live MOIN! The Network Chugs AlongThe blockchain continutes to run smoothly. KingCaper recently dropped a fresh bootstrap to help people synch faster. The post with that is over here. Stickers still plenty of 'em! Ideas for next project?Just wanted to remind everyone that you can get pretty sweet MOIN stickers right here on this website and pay in MOIN. The stickers are 250 MOIN a piece and I'll ship them to you no matter where you are as long as it isn't some absurd expense. More info about that over on the Sticker Page . All MOIN collected goes to the Moin Foundation funnd. The fund is looking pretty nice at this point. If anyone has any ideas for other ways to raise MOIN for the foundation or even ways to use the MOIN we have raised give me a shout
